In his annual message to the State Council the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized the importance of small and medium-sized businesses in the socio-economic development of the republic.
"Small and medium-sized businesses play a special role in the socio-economic development of our republic. Despite global transformations, business in Tatarstan has demonstrated high adaptability, and the number of SMEs and their employees continue to grow," stressedMinnikhanov.
The Head of Tatarstan noted that the success of entrepreneurship is not just numbers in reports, but real stories of people who create new jobs with their work, contribute to the development of the region's economy and inspire others.
Minnikhanov gave examples of inspiring entrepreneurial stories:
- Radmila Belavina is a mother with many children, who successfully develops domestic high-tech production, whose products are exported to 38 countries around the world.
- Yaroslav Zhelonkin is recognized as the best young industrialist of the year.
- Karina Pikuleva — started as a self-employed, and today her brand is among the best in Russia.
- Dilya Khairullina is a social entrepreneur and philanthropist who creates jobs for people with disabilities.
"The Republic of Tatarstan demonstrates steady dynamics in the development of the business climate. The key role in this is played by the active use of a wide range of state support measures by businesses, including within the framework of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy", which allow not only launching new projects, but also modernizing existing production facilities. Over the past year, 2.6 thousand small and medium-sized businesses have received financial support through federal and republican programs. The total amount of state support has exceeded 38.7 billion rubles," said Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
