Today, on the sidelines of the Kazan Digital Week-2025 International Forum, a signing ceremony was held for an agreement on cooperation and information interaction between the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
The document was signed by Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva from the Republic of Tatarstan, and Deputy Minister Andrey Omelchuk from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
Tatarstan has become one of the pilot regions for testing a large-scale project to build the capacity of the national digital platform "Science", designed to ensure the management of scientific and technological development processes at a qualitatively new level. One of the directions is the creation of the Regional Scientific and Technological Development service, which will ensure the integration of examination planning and reporting mechanisms in the implementation of state scientific and technological policy at all levels. The project also provides for the integration of existing electronic information systems in the field of science and innovation with the core of the system – EGISU R&D.
The draft agreement on cooperation and information interaction was developed jointly with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Republic and relevant scientific and expert structures such as the Center for Scientific and Technical Information of the Republic of Tatarstan, subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as with the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Center for Information Technologies and Systems of Executive Authorities named after A. V. Starovoitov" and GBNU "Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan".
The document provides for the organization of interaction between scientists, scientific organizations, business and the regulator to ensure the transfer of new developments into products and services in demand by the real sector of the economy; support for research and development activities for civil purposes in accordance with the priorities of the country's scientific and technological development strategy and national technological leadership projects; transfer of information contained in a single the State Information System for accounting for research, development and technological works for civil purposes (EGISU R&D) and in the Unified System of State Accounting and storage of results of research, development and technological works for civil purposes in the Republic of Tatarstan (EGSU RT); creation of a regional segment of the Republic of Tatarstan as part of a digital platform for organization and management science based on existing information resources, including the domain "Science and Innovation" (Platform "Science").
