Today, within the framework of the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum, Supplier's Day was held, which was opened by Deputy Minister Dinar Shakirov on behalf of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The events are organized with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In his welcoming speech, the Deputy Minister stressed the importance of creating effective discussion platforms for an open dialogue between customers and suppliers.
"The effective development of the republic is inextricably linked to small and medium-sized businesses. Today, there are more than 180,000 small and medium-sized businesses in Tatarstan, providing jobs for about 830,000 people, which is 40% of those employed in the republic's economy. Realizing the importance of building interaction between large, medium, micro and small businesses, we are actively developing cooperation with our partners, including PJSC Sibur," Shakirov emphasized.
The Deputy Minister also noted that the Ministry of Economy, together with its partners, held 12 days of Supplier Day for 24 large enterprises in the country.
The participants of the event discussed topical issues of competitive procurement, requirements for suppliers, the specifics of choosing counterparties, as well as key areas of import substitution and the specifics of project management, supply and logistics.
Supplier's Day traditionally attracts a wide range of industry experts and helps to increase transparency of procurement procedures and promote fair competition in the market.
The Petrochemical Forum and the International Petrochemical Exhibition "Kazan Oil, Gas & Chemistry" is held in Kazan from August 26 to 28 and is an important platform for discussing topical issues of the industry, presenting innovative solutions, as well as establishing business contacts between representatives of business, science and government agencies.
