On August 21, 2025, at the Public Reception of The Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs under the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan held a webinar for representatives of the business community on the topic "Reducing administrative barriers through procedures for evaluating regulatory legal acts."
During the webinar, Elena Filippova, Head of the Regulatory Impact Assessment and Competition Development Department of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about three approaches to assessing regulatory legal acts: assessing the regulatory impact of draft regulatory legal acts, examining existing regulatory legal acts, assessing the application of mandatory requirements and assessing the actual impact. Particular attention was paid to optimizing the regulatory environment and reducing unreasonable costs for businesses.
"The participation of business representatives in public consultations, as shown by more than a decade of experience in conducting regulatory impact assessments in the republic, has made it possible to identify not only the positive aspects of the decisions taken, but also those provisions that create excessive administrative restrictions and financial burden for business entities," said Elena Filippova in her speech.
At the end of her speech, the speaker called on the business community to actively participate in the evaluation procedures.
