According to the SME Corporation, more than 80% of SMO veterans want to open their own business in the fields of services, catering, tourism and agriculture. In Tatarstan, SMO participants can receive financing for the development of their own business at a rate of 1% per annum.

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with subordinate development institutions, is implementing a set of measures aimed at helping to open and develop their own businesses under the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".

SMO participants who are running or planning to open their own business in Tatarstan are offered a set of support measures, including the opportunity to attract a loan at a reduced rate for the development of their own business. Support at the specified rate is provided only in two regions of Russia: Tatarstan and Perm Region.

In Tatarstan, as of the beginning of August, more than 180 million rubles were given to entrepreneurs participating in SMO under specialized support programs through the Digital platform SME.RF.

Also this year, the second stage of the training program has been completed, which demonstrates the first positive results: 7 graduates have successfully launched their own business, having received support from the Ministry.

The first cycle of this year's training was implemented in cooperation with the Defenders of the Fatherland State Foundation. More than 70 people took part in it. It is planned that at least 100 people will be trained in 2025.

It should be recalled that programs to support entrepreneurs participating in SMO in Tatarstan, in addition to financing at a reduced rate, include co-financing services for product certification, professional development of company employees, as well as advertising promotion of goods and services. Each of the support measures can be found in more detail on the website of SME.RF.
