At the plenary session of the Business Scale Forum, Gulnaz Ismagilova, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about regulatory impact assessment (RIA) as a mechanism for reducing administrative barriers and reducing business costs.
In her speech, Gulnaz Ismagilova emphasized the key role of RIA as a tool for analyzing the consequences of the introduced regulation. As the speaker noted, since its introduction in Tatarstan, the mechanism has clearly proved its effectiveness in upholding the interests of the business community.
The Deputy Minister paid special attention to the economic effect of RIA, which is reflected in lower costs for entrepreneurs due to better, more reasonable and less costly regulation.
"The use of regulatory impact assessment ensures the creation of favorable conditions for the development of entrepreneurship, eliminates unnecessary administrative barriers and reduces costs for businesses," Gulnaz Ismagilova said.
The Deputy Minister called on entrepreneurs to participate more actively in public consultations on draft regulatory legal acts, which are posted on the official website of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
A round table discussion "Assessment of regulatory impact and forms of government support: concessional financing, subsidies, grants and ways to make proposals for draft new acts" was also held during the event.
The participants discussed the mechanisms of concessional financing, subsidies and grant support, as well as effective ways to make proposals for draft new regulations. Representatives of business and government agencies exchanged experiences and outlined ways to further cooperate in order to create a favorable regulatory environment and increase the availability of support measures.
The Business Scale Forum, dedicated to the development of the financial ecosystem of business, brought together government representatives, the business community and experts to discuss topical issues of entrepreneurship in the republic. The event is organized by the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan (APMSB RT) with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan under the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
