Tatarstan businesswomen are invited to the International Competition of entrepreneurial projects of APEC countries

On August 1, the national stage of the international competition of women's entrepreneurial projects of the countries of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation "APEC BEST AWARD" started. The competition is being held in Russia for the tenth time. 

The event was organized by the Committee for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship OPORA RUSSIA, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation in cooperation with the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum under the Federation Council with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The project aims to promote women's entrepreneurship, help develop and scale successful business ideas, create a global network of experience exchange between women entrepreneurs, and facilitate the process of finding partners in the Asia-Pacific region.

Women entrepreneurs and managers of small and medium-sized businesses can take part in the competition.

To participate, you must submit an application on the contest website https://apecbestaward.com/anketa and send the project presentation to the email address apecbest@rambler.ru until September 5, 2025.

Applicants must also meet the following criteria:

The project submitted to the competition belongs to small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), is break-even and has been operating in the Russian Federation for at least 2 and no more than 12 years as of the date of the announcement of the Competition;

The candidate's participation (capital) in the project submitted for the competition must be at least 50%. This restriction does not apply to the management competition (in the "Best Top Manager" nomination);

The business model used must be potentially reproducible.

The two winners who have passed the Russian selection will go to the international finals, where they will meet with the best participants from other countries. The final will be held in October this year. The work will be evaluated by an expert jury, which will include representatives of APEC, government and business.
