The Ministry of Economy participated in the Russian-Turkish forum of the public

On November 20, 2013 in Kazan meeting of the Russian-Turkish forum of the public took place. The forum is founded according to the solution of the first meeting of Council of cooperation of the highest level of Russia and Turkey on the order of the President of the Russian Federation and the Prime minister of the Republic of Turkey. The forum is some kind of platform for discussion of new ways and forms of cooperation and recommendations about strengthening of the Russian-Turkish relations, including – between civil societies of two countries. Meeting which opened today in Kazan, – the first within work of the Russian-Turkish forum of the public from the moment of its creation. Main objectives of action – development of the public relations and mutual understanding between two countries in spheres of culture and art, science and education, mass media, business connections, tourism, interreligious dialogue, the right and other areas.
As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House.
