Plans for 2025 in the region provide for the construction and repair of 189 healthcare facilities, including 18 polyclinics, 151 medical and obstetric centers, 11 outpatient clinics and other medical institutions.
The regional project office of the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan reported that at the moment, the Bolshetarkhanskaya hospital in the Tetyushsky district is at the completion stage of repair work. A new medical and obstetric center has been erected in the village of Tatarskaya Bagana. In the Chistopolsky district, a new FAS is under construction in the village of Staroe Surkino in the Almetyevsk district. An outpatient clinic of the Yelabuga Central District Hospital in the village of Kosteneevo has also been opened.
According to the results of last year, 383 medical institutions were built and repaired in Tatarstan. Six months ago, Russia's largest medical complex for 600 patients opened in the republic.
The multidisciplinary polyclinic became the largest facility built in 2024 as part of the federal program for the modernization of primary health care under the national Healthcare project. Hundreds of patients can receive one-time care in the complex. Adult and children's polyclinics, a women's consultation, a medical aid station and a 24-hour emergency room are open. The facility employs 40 doctors. These are surgeons, endocrinologists, gynecologists, neurologists, allergists, and psychologists.
In addition, medical equipment was purchased to equip medical institutions, and preventive examinations of the population were conducted to detect cardiovascular and oncological diseases. Thanks to the opening of paramedic and obstetric centers (FAS) for the provision of primary medical care, residents of remote settlements receive timely medical care.
This year, the national project "Long and active Life" has been launched in Russia, which will implement measures to achieve new indicators of longevity of citizens. By 2030, it is planned to increase life expectancy to 78 years, and by 2036 to 81 years.
With the help of the national project, medical institutions are being updated, the rehabilitation system is being improved, a network of national research centers is developing, and work is underway to digitalize healthcare.
Due to the implementation of national projects in the republic, 75% of Tatarstan citizens are currently satisfied with the quality of medicine.
