The multimedia technology development project from Tatarstan became the winner of the federal competition

Ramil Shakirov, a young entrepreneur from Tatarstan, founder of Experiment 619, became one of the 30 laureates of the federal youth entrepreneurship competition "Create OURS". The competition is held under the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy". 

The entrepreneur is developing multimedia technologies and, according to the results of the competition, his project received a grant of 1 million rubles from the Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative Foundation, and was also selected for the SME Corporation acceleration program.

"The Create Ours Federal competition allows young entrepreneurs and those who just want to start their own business to receive support for their ideas both in the general stream and in individual areas within the framework of special events," said Alexander Isaevich, CEO of SME Corporation. 

The company's history dates back to its university years. Then Ramil participated in student grant competitions such as "PolyProject" and "Young Design". Working with designers, engineers and programmers, he realized how promising the direction of art objects is using new media technologies. This gave rise to the idea of creating our own project specializing in multimedia installations and video mapping technologies, a modern method of audiovisual projection onto any surface. In 2022, the team founded Experiment 619. 

Although this technology is actively developing in the world, it still remains a niche in Russia. The company's team makes video mapping more accessible, scalable, and in demand both in urban environments and in commercial and cultural spaces.

"A grant is not only a resource, but also an opportunity to move more boldly, to test hypotheses without fear of failure," Shakirov says. –Government support gives us confidence and helps us turn an idea into a product faster, and an experiment into a business."

The grant funds will be used to develop their own solutions that will simplify the creation of video mapping and open up new opportunities for designers, architects, event teams and cultural institutions.

Today, Experiment 619 actively uses government support measures: participation in accelerators from the SME.RF platform, educational programs like "Leaders of the Future of St. Petersburg," as well as specialized exhibitions and festivals, including the international "Night of Light" in Gatchina and the federal competition "Country of Light."

The Federal Youth Entrepreneurship Competition "Create OURS" is a joint project of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), the SME Corporation and the Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative Foundation. In 2025, more than 7 thousand young entrepreneurs from all regions of the country took part in it. 30 winners received 1 million rubles each for the development of their projects and the opportunity to undergo acceleration from the experts of the SME Corporation.

Earlier, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan announced another winner of the federal competition from Tatarstan. The scientific and production project of the laureate is aimed at import substitution in the field of polymer materials.
