Tatarstan's industrial output amounted to about 2 trillion rubles in the first four months of this year.
On June 4, 2025, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting of the working group on ensuring the sustainable development of the regional economy. The event was attended by Maxim Anatolyevich Topilin, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy of the Russian Federation, and Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the meeting, a range of topical issues related to ensuring balanced and effective development of the republic's economy was considered. Special attention was paid to measures of state support and the development of the industrial complex as one of the key areas of socio-economic growth in the region.
The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan presented data on the state of industrial production for January-April 2025. In the first four months of this year, the volume of industrial production in the republic amounted to 1 trillion 827.8 billion rubles. The industrial production index (IPI) reached 106.8% compared to the same period in 2024, which indicates the progressive development of the industry.
Significant progress was also noted in manufacturing, with an index of 113.5% compared to January-April last year.
This indicator reflects the high effectiveness of the implemented state support measures and indicates the strengthening of the position of industry as the basis of the economic stability of the republic- Midkhat Shagiakhmetov emphasized.
Following the meeting, priority areas for further work were identified, including maintaining the positive dynamics of economic growth and modernizing key industrial sectors. The joint work of federal and republican authorities has been recognized as effective and will continue to contribute to the sustainable development of Tatarstan's economy.

The traditional place of celebration has become the city's Maidan, which is already attracting the first guests.
The townspeople are greeted with a concert program with the participation of local creative teams, and a playground for craftsmen of folk crafts "City of Creativity" is organized at the entrance.
A program has also been prepared for the youngest guests: games and competitions are held on the "children's Maidan". After that, guests will enjoy a concert with Tatar pop stars. An exhibition of paintings by the artist Ildus Murtazin will also be opened on the Maidan.
