Active work continues in the Republic of Tatarstan to support veterans of the Special Military operation (SMO) and their family members as part of the Russian Entrepreneurship Day.
The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan implements a set of measures aimed at helping to open and develop their own business. This was announced by Natalia Kondratova, First Deputy Minister of Economy and Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Department, during a press conference on the educational program for veterans.
Special financial products are available on the basis of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Guarantee Fund, including preferential microloans of up to 5 million rubles at 1% per annum with a guarantee guarantee of up to 70%. 52 entrepreneurs have already used these tools for a total amount of over 210 million rubles.
This year, the second stream of the educational program for military veterans and their families has been completed. The program, which was launched in a pilot mode in December last year, has already shown its first successes: 7 graduates have started their own business with the support of the Ministry. It is planned to train at least 120 participants in 2025.
In 2025, this is the second training, the first was conducted in cooperation with the Defenders of the Patronymic State Foundation. 21 people took part in person and 51 people online.
"We feel a demand from veterans and their loved ones to get practical skills," Natalia Kondratova said. "Our task is not only to provide knowledge, but also to provide constant support at all stages of project implementation."
