The Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Nizhnekamskneftekhim (SIBUR) as part of the celebration of the company's 30th anniversary and Chemist's Day. The working trip was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov 

We will tell you briefly about the working visit: 

The construction and modernization of the first hexene production plant in Russia and the CIS with a capacity of 50,000 tons per year has been completed by 99%, which will fully meet the needs of the Russian Federation and CIS market in premium grade polyethylene. 

The speed of quality control of the company's products has been significantly increased thanks to the new laboratory complex and updated working conditions for employees, including a psychological relief room.

The volume of SIBUR's investments in the SIBURINTECH-NK training center project for the development of engineering and technical expertise amounted to 1.8 billion rubles. The center, created within the NKHTI campus, includes 42 classrooms, 5 training grounds and 47 stands. It is planned to train 17 thousand people a year. It was noted that unique technologies are used in laboratories, the share of Russian equipment is 96%.

Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that SIBUR is the flagship of the Russian petrochemical industry. He noted that SIBUR's ongoing projects promote import substitution, ensure the introduction of innovative solutions and achieve the country's technological leadership. Over 3 years, SIBUR has invested 196 billion in the development of production and social facilities in the republic. At the same time, last year alone, the volume of investments reached 95 billion rubles.
