Tatarstan businesses are actively applying for a competition to promote Russian brands - the region has entered the TOP 2 in terms of the number of initiatives directed. Of the 10,000 applications received from entrepreneurs from all regions of the country, 1.5 thousand are from the republic.
Bashkortostan ranks first in terms of the number of submitted brands (over 2.3 thousand), Tatarstan ranks second (over 1.5 thousand), and the Republic of Mordovia also ranks in the top three (over 580).
The All-Russian growing Brand competition "Know Our People!", organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and the Roscongress Foundation, aims to demonstrate the diversity of Russian brands that are not only as good as their foreign counterparts in quality, but often surpass them. Participants can be small and medium-sized businesses that demonstrate steady growth rates and a high degree of localization of production.
The winners will receive assistance in promoting on marketplaces and retail chains, access to training programs, individual consultations with business experts, membership in business associations, free participation in key events, as well as grant support.
In the third season of the competition, there are five nominations: food, food products, creativity, high technology and IT - Tatarstan residents have declared for each of the nominations. Special nominations from partners are also provided. Due to the high interest in the competition of domestic brands, the organizers announced an extension of the deadline for accepting applications until June 1.
The award ceremony will take place in July in Nizhny Novgorod as part of the forum "Strong Ideas for a New Age", where businesses can also submit an initiative at the same time.
The Forum will help identify and support promising projects and initiatives that contribute to the integrated development of Russia through five key areas: the National Social Initiative (NSI), the National Entrepreneurial Initiative (NPI), the National Technology Initiative (NTI), the National Human Resources Initiative (NHRI), and the National Environmental and Climate Initiative (NECI).
After submitting the ideas, the experts check and evaluate all applications submitted to the forum, as well as give their comments to finalize the projects. In addition, by the beginning of July, experts will select the top lists with the best offers. The most promising projects that meet the challenges of the time are presented to the country's leadership. Every year, about 1,000 initiatives participating in the forum receive support from ASI, regional authorities and forum partners.
You can submit your idea on the crowd platform idea.roscongress.rf or declare your brand on knowours.asi.rf before June 1 inclusive. The organizers are ASI and the Roscongress Foundation, co–organized by VEB.RF.
