On February 28, at 16:00, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia jointly with the Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) is launching applications for compensation of expenses related to research and development (R&D), as well as homologation of products in accordance with the requirements of foreign markets.
Applications for participation in the competition and the necessary documents can be submitted electronically through the State Information System of Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia SIIS until 18:00 (Moscow time) on March 31, 2025. Compensation will be provided based on the results of the competition.
The program provides support for projects related to two main areas: R&D to create new competitive products and homologation of existing products to ensure their compliance with the requirements of importing countries outside the Russian Federation. Both aspects contribute to the successful entry of Russian high-tech companies into international markets.
Compensation is subject to up to 50% of the incurred research and development costs. At the same time, exporters can reimburse R&D costs both actually incurred and planned in future periods (but not more than 36 months) in certain areas (wages, material costs, rental of premises, etc.).
The maximum amount of compensation for the R&D project is 900 million rubles and 200 million rubles for homologation.
The corresponding announcement was published by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. The Russian Export Center acts as an agent of the Russian Government implementing this support measure.
