In 2025, the VI National Competition GPM Awards Russia will be held in Russia to identify the best practices in the field of sustainable development and ESG

The purpose of the competition is to promote the formation in the Russian Federation of a culture of effective project and program management and systematic project thinking among professionals implementing initiatives in the approaches of sustainable development and ESG (ECG Ecology, Personnel, Government).

The main objectives of the National Competition:

− identification, analysis and popularization of the positive experience of organizations in the implementation of projects in the field of sustainable development and ESG transformations;

− bringing the best design practices into the activities of organizations in the Russian Federation that can increase the motivation of change leaders to implement modern project management methods;

− creation of a dialogue platform for the exchange of experience in the field of effective sustainable management of projects and programs between representatives of state and municipal authorities, business organizations, educational and scientific institutions and other stakeholders.

Government authorities at all levels, business companies, individual entrepreneurs, educational and scientific institutions involved in the implementation of sustainable development projects and programs, including socially oriented and environmental projects, are invited to participate in the National Competition.

A distinctive feature of the National Competition is its focus on projects of various scales and locations of implementation. Projects implemented in the Russian Federation, CIS countries and the Asia-Pacific region can be applied for participation in 2025.

Stages and dates of the Competition in 2025:

STAGE 1 – Acceptance of applications and reports

Until 05.09.2025

− Submission of applications – until 30.05.2025

− Submission of reports – until 05.09.2025

− Review of reports by assessors – until 30.09.2025

STAGE 2 – Conducting interviews with assessors

30.09.2025 – 20.10.2025

− Visits to participants or conducting interviews online – until 10.10.2025

− Project evaluation – until 10/20/2025

Final conference and award ceremony – 12/04/2025

The national competition is held on an annual basis in an open format with public coverage of the results in specialized media and information resources.

In 2025, there are four areas in the National Competition – "PROJECTS", "RESEARCH", "PEOPLE", and "Green Office Awards".
