The results of the work of the outgoing year were summed up in the Mendeleevsky municipal district of Tatarstan
The final meeting of the Mendeleevsk District Council was held today in Mendeleevsk with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
Before the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister, together with the head of the district, Radmir Belyaev, and the Mendeleevsk team visited the territory of one of the country's largest chemical enterprises, Ammonium, as well as the Mendeleevsk 2.0 industrial park, where residents presented their projects.
The participants also visited the chemical technology Lyceum "Descendants of Mendeleev" and the Mendeleevskaya Valley center, where they were shown the educational cluster of the district.
"The environment is very important for the upbringing and decent education of children. There is an excellent base for high-quality general and additional education for children," Midkhat Shagiakhmetov said after reviewing the activities of the educational institution.
As part of the final meeting of the District Council, the commemorative medals "80 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" were presented at the Registry Office of the district. By decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the medal was awarded to Zainak Agliev, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, and 10 home front workers.
Midkhat Shagiakhmetov wished all veterans good health and long life with their families and friends, and stressed the importance of organizing high-level preparations and events in the area dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
He also expressed his deep gratitude to our fighters, including those from the Mendeleevsky district, who are now defending our country in their war zone and are doing everything to bring our victory closer.
In his speech, the Deputy Prime Minister also stressed that "The Republic of Tatarstan, under the leadership of Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, continues its sustainable development, making a significant contribution to the development of the country. Mendeleevsky municipal district makes an important contribution to the development of the republic's economy, as it is a unique industrial center of Tatarstan, whose economy is based on the chemical industry. The district occupies key positions in the chemical industry of the republic, which makes it a strategically important territory for the development of Tatarstan's industrial potential."
