Small and medium-sized businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan attracted more than 28.8 billion rubles in 2024 with the help of guarantees from participants in the National Guarantee System, operated by the SME Corporation. This was announced at the Board of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan by Kirill Kolomiytsev, Deputy General Director of SME Corporation.
The Republic of Tatarstan took 1st place among the subjects of the Volga Federal District in terms of financial support within the framework of the NGS, which, along with the SME Corporation, includes regional guarantee organizations (RGS) and state (municipal) microfinance organizations (GMFO).
"More than 2.1 thousand companies received financial support under the NGS, which is one and a half times more than in 2023. At the same time, a little less than half, or rather 950 SMEs, attracted the necessary financing thanks to the mechanism of "umbrella" guarantees of the SME Corporation," stressed Kirill Kolomiytsev.
The volume of loans granted to small and medium-sized businesses in Tatarstan, provided with umbrella guarantees, amounted to almost 9.7 billion rubles in 2024. In total, since the launch of the mechanism, more than 1.9 thousand entrepreneurs of the republic have attracted 23.7 billion rubles.
Kirill Kolomiytsev also spoke about plans to launch new measures for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, which will be implemented under a core federal project included in the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy". Thus, it is planned to launch a joint loan incentive program with the Bank of Russia to support SME investment projects in priority sectors, a joint preferential loan program with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia for SMEs in the field of machine tools and robotics, as well as a joint "umbrella" guarantee from SME Corporation and VEB.RF for legal entities from the urban economy sector.
