Fund of development of online initiatives will support start-ups and online business

The Fund of Development of Internet Initiatives (FDII) founded by Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization Agency of Strategic Initiatives on Promotion of New Projects began work in the current year. One of the main tasks of FDII is financial and expert support already at early stages of development of projects. Any citizen of Russia can register the Internet project: from a startup to successfully functioning online business which needs financing for further development, on the Fund site www.iidf.ru or www.фрии.рф. The volume of means under control of FDII is 6 billion rubles. Within 3 years it is planned to finance more than 400 Russian Internet projects.
As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House.
