In Tatarstan, more than 228 billion rubles have been allocated for the implementation of national projects over 6 years.
Today, this was stated in his speech at a briefing on the implementation of national projects in the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
With the end of 2024, the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the successful implementation of national projects aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens and developing the region's infrastructure.
In the period from 2019 to 2024, about 228 billion rubles were allocated to national projects in the Republic of Tatarstan, of which 160 billion rubles were allocated from the federal budget, and more than 68 billion rubles came from the republic's budget.
Key achievements for 2019-2024 include:
- Infrastructure development and landscaping:
- More than 7 thousand kilometers of roads have been built and repaired, which has significantly improved transport links both within the republic and with neighboring regions.
- Significant landscaping work has been completed in 353 parks and squares.
- Education and culture:
- 87 new educational institutions and 27 schools have been built, where more than 25 thousand children study.
- Projects for the construction and renovation of more than 70 cultural facilities, including theaters, museums and libraries, have been implemented.
- Healthcare:
- About 400 healthcare facilities have been built and modernized, including the Center for Pediatric Oncology in Kazan.
- Modern medical equipment has been purchased and geriatric centers have been opened.
- Entrepreneurship support:
- Over 179,000 support measures worth over 316 billion rubles have been provided to small and medium-sized businesses.
- Projects aimed at popularizing entrepreneurship have been implemented, such as "School Business Start" and "Entrepreneurship Factory".
- Social support:
- Financial support has been provided to families with children, and a system of long-term care for the older generation has been introduced.
Since January 2025, new national projects have been launched in the Republic of Tatarstan aimed at continuing the positive dynamics in the socio-economic development of the region. It is planned to allocate 160 billion rubles for the implementation of national projects over the next three years.
Planned activities and development directions for 2025:
In total, the allocated funds will be used to build and overhaul 375 capital construction and road facilities.
1. Education and social sphere:

- It is planned to build two schools with 1,224 places in Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny and overhaul 14 educational facilities.
- It is expected to open a Youth center and four kindergartens, with major repairs.
2. Healthcare:

- To carry out the construction and modernization of 189 healthcare facilities, including medical and obstetric centers, hospitals and polyclinics.
- Entrepreneurship support:
- Continue to provide measures to support entrepreneurship, including microloans, leasing, guarantees and concessional lending.
- Landscaping and ecology:
- To carry out landscaping of 51 public spaces, including parks and squares.
- To complete the reclamation of the silt fields of biological treatment facilities in Kazan.
- Innovation and technological development:
- The national projects provide for the digitalization of educational, medical institutions and public services.
