Since the beginning of the year, Tatarstan entrepreneurs have received about 800 million rubles of financial support for the national project "Small and medium-sized enterprises" through the federal Digital platform SME.RF.
In Russia, the amount of support amounted to more than 15.7 billion rubles. Let us recall that small and medium-sized businesses can apply for a micro-loan through the service "Selection and receipt of microfinance" from October 2023.
"Almost 6.1 thousand of SMEs from 82 regions received support in the form of microfinance through a special platform service, of which 1.2 thousand are start–up entrepreneurs. Every fourth issue of the total volume is carried out with the help of SME.RF. The digitalization of this support measure allows us and the regions to see the full portrait of the recipients, analyze the reasons for refusals and make the necessary adjustments," said Alexander Isaevich, CEO of SME Corporation.
He also added that currently an average of 56 applications are received daily and contracts for more than 68 million rubles are concluded.
According to the results of eleven months, the average size of a microloan amounted to 2.4 million rubles, the average loan term was 2.6 years, the weighted average rate was 7.4%, which is 3-4 times lower than the rates for bank lending.
Almost two thirds – 64% of microloans were received to replenish working capital, 31% for investment purposes and 5% for other purposes. Microfinance services are in demand among entrepreneurs in the fields of trade and services (26% and 24% of the total volume of microloans, respectively), as well as production (18%).
The leaders among the regions in terms of microcredit through an online service on SME.RF became the Krasnodar Territory (926 million rubles), the Udmurt Republic (915 million rubles), the Irkutsk Region (868 million rubles), the Republic of Crimea and the Republic of Tatarstan (791 million rubles and 769 million rubles, respectively).
"Tatarstan entrepreneurs have access to 7 financial products, including specialized ones for supporting companies with ITS participants and partner products. The interest rate on products ranges from 1 to 9.5% per annum, which increases the availability of government financing for businesses in the context of an increase in the key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. The support covers various business areas - exporters, manufacturing enterprises, residents of industrial parks, technology companies and others. Preferential financing allows companies to receive up to 5 million rubles," said the First Deputy Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Natalia Kondratova.
As a rule, entrepreneurs use the attracted financing to expand their business. For example, in June 2024, Aida Khatypova, a start-up individual entrepreneur from the Republic of Tatarstan, received a micro-loan for RUB 5 million at an interest rate of 4.5% through the SME.RF service The funds raised were used to open a bakery under the Zhar Svezhar franchise.
A digital platform SME.RF was developed by the SME Corporation together with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation to increase the availability of services and support measures for small and medium-sized businesses. The creation and development of the platform is provided for by the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises", which was initiated by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
