On the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan, the self-employed will be provided with free retail spaces

On the holiday weekend, from August 29 to 31, a large fair of self-employed products will be held in Tatarstan. Free retail spaces will be organized for 120 self-employed people of the republic on Bauman Street within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises".

The most touristic street in Kazan will become a place for three days to sell goods produced by the self-employed from all over the republic - there will be a fair under the brand "I am Tatarstan". Handicraft products, jewelry, clothing, sweets, souvenirs and other goods, including those with a national theme, will be presented at the fair. 

"The number of self-employed is growing in Tatarstan, today there are more than 342 thousand people. Along with the increase in the self-employed, we are registering an increasing interest in fairs. The self-employed call the hotline and specify the dates of the next events and the conditions of participation. Due to the increased attention to the support tool, we have introduced it into the portfolio of measures provided on an ongoing basis," said the First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Natalia Kondratova. 

She recalled that the brand "I am Tatarstan" appeared in 2020 as part of the summer fair of the self-employed. It carries a national identity, as well as the products of artisans, and says that every self-employed person makes a significant contribution to the development of the republic.

Participation is free of charge and opens up wide opportunities to improve the skills of selling their products. The self-employed will be able to find new customers, establish useful contacts with colleagues and gain sales experience. 

Professional income tax payers operating in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan can take part in the fair. To do this, you need to submit an application on the SME.RF Digital platform

The event was organized by the My Business Center with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" initiated by the President of the Russian Federation.
