The selection of experts to the Expert Council on Regulatory Impact Assessment is underway

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan is selecting experts to be included in the Expert Council for Assessing the regulatory Impact of draft republican regulatory legal acts.

Let us recall that the regulatory impact assessment (RIA) is carried out in order to identify provisions introducing excessive duties, prohibitions and restrictions for business and investment entities or contributing to their introduction, as well as provisions contributing to the occurrence of unreasonable expenses of business and investment entities and the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Expert Council is established in order to carry out such an assessment in relation to draft normative legal acts and make a decision on the expediency of adopting normative legal acts or regulatory control.

The main tasks of the Expert Council are:

Consideration of the draft regulatory legal act and determination of its compliance with the established requirements;

making decisions on the approval of a draft regulatory legal act, the need for a detailed assessment of the regulatory impact and public consultations, motivated rejection or referral of the project for revision (cancellation, amendment of the regulatory legal act), taking into account the materials of public consultations and a detailed assessment of the regulatory impact.
