Midhat Shagiakhmetov took part in the meeting of the public council of Kazanorgsintez
Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, member of the Board of Directors of Kazanorgsintez took part in a meeting of the Public Council of the enterprise. The main topics of the meeting were environmental technologies used by Kazanorgsintez, the development of new polymer brands and the modernization of production.
Midhat Shagiakhmetov said that environmental issues are considered at each meeting of the company's board of directors. All Kazanorgsintez projects provided for in the development plan until 2026 contain mandatory environmental parameters.
"Kazanorgsintez and Nizhnekamskneftekhim are implementing large-scale investment projects. The isopropylbenzene plant has been modernized in Kazan, the reconstruction of the reactor "B" is being completed, and EP-600 is being built in Nizhnekamsk - a large-scale project that will provide, among other things, Kazanorgsintez with raw materials. The decisions taken by SIBUR make it possible to reduce the environmental impact, for example, at Kazanorgsintez by 14-15%. Significant results are also being observed in the direction of waste collection. The company launches eco-friendly technologies and modernization measures. And this is along with key economic indicators. About 25 thousand jobs in related industries are created by Kazanorgsintez, and a significant proportion of small and medium-sized businesses in Tatarstan are in these jobs. More than 30% of the products produced at the enterprise are processed inside the republic," Midhat Shagiakhmetov said.
According to the minister, an effective form of interaction between SIBUR and contractors "Supplier's Day" has been introduced (events that allow establishing direct contacts between potential suppliers and SIBUR).
"The company sets out its plans in detail, shows results, explains how it solves problems. And we see that their results are good," he added.
During the meeting, Midhat Shagiakhmetov also awarded the winners of the children's drawing contest, which was held at the enterprise as part of the Kazanorsintez Ecology Week. The authors of the three best drawings - the children of the company's employees received diplomas and bicycles.
