Small technology companies in Tatarstan can receive a grant of 8 million rubles to finalize an innovative project

Applications have been accepted for the Start-2 competition of the Start program, which the Innovation Assistance Fund conducts jointly with the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia as part of the federal project "Take—off - from startup to IPO".

The Start program is aimed at supporting small enterprises that are at the initial stage of development and strive to develop and master the production of new products, technologies or services using the results of their own scientific, technical and technological research with significant commercialization potential.

Innovative companies that have already received funding for basic developments and are ready to implement them in production can apply for the grant. If the applicant company has the status of a small technology company, it will receive an additional point at the application review stage.

The amount of support for the competition is up to 8 million rubles. The amount of co-financing from the company's own or borrowed funds must be at least 15% of the grant amount. The planned R&D completion period is 12, 18 or 24 months.

Projects are accepted in one of six directions:

  • H1. Digital technologies;
  • H2. Medicine and health-saving technologies;
  • H3. New materials and chemical technologies;
  • H4. New devices and intelligent manufacturing technologies;
  • H5. Biotechnology;
  • H6. Resource-saving energy.

The grant can be used to pay employees and pay for third-party services, purchase equipment and various expenses.
