120 Tatarstan self-employed from all over the republic present handmade products at the fair, which is being held in Kazan with the support of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises". The fair took place from 24 to 26 May near the Galiaskara Kamala Theater and will be open from 14:00 to 22:00. Equipped retail spaces were provided to participants free of charge by the My Business center, which operates in the republic under the national project. The fair is timed to coincide with the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship.
At the fair, residents and guests of the republic can see and purchase original author's products - from carpentry workshops to jewelry and farm products with a national flavor.
Natalia Kondratova, First Deputy Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Director of the Department of Entrepreneurship Development, took part in the opening of the fair. She congratulated the business of the republic on the upcoming Russian Entrepreneurship Day, wishing successful trade and good revenue. In addition, together with Alfiya Kogogina, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, she presented diplomas to the self-employed.
This year's fair is dedicated to the culture of business, a shelf with books about business and entrepreneurship is installed on the fair site, where visitors can borrow books, leaving their own in return to share knowledge.
Presenters, DJs and artists will work at the Kamala Theater all weekend. They will hold contests and quizzes for the guests of the holiday. Performances by creative groups and musicians of the republic are also planned.
Currently, there are more than 330 thousand self-employed citizens in Tatarstan. The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the My Business Center, within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises", have regularly held fairs for the self-employed since 2020, in total over 60 such events were held.
