The volume of purchases of the largest state–owned companies from small and medium-sized businesses is one of the indicators of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship", which was initiated by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and is supervised by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak. In 2024, their planned volume should amount to 7.2 trillion rubles.

"Small and medium-sized businesses have established themselves as a reliable partner for companies with state participation in the framework of procurement procedures under Federal Law 223-FZ.
