Midhat Shagiakhmetov took part in the 2013 KAZANSUMMIT

October 3, 2013 the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov participated in the Strategic Forum in the framework of the V International Economic Forum of Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Kazansummit'13. The meeting vizited the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov , State Councillor of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev , deputy speaker of the Federation Council Ilyas Umakhanov , Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Ekmeleddin Iksanoglu . Before the beginning of the forum Minnikhanov and Mintimer Shaimiev visited the exhibition of investment and economic projects in Tatarstan. Welcoming the participants of the forum , the President of the Republic of Tatarstan emphasized the importance Kazansummit. " Our country these days has become a major area of economic cooperation between Russia and the Islamic world - said Minnikhanov . - In Kazansummit attended by about 600 participants from 40 countries and 16 regions of the Russian Federation. "
As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House.
