In Tatarstan started V International Economic Summit of Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation KAZANSUMMIT 2013

From 2 to 3 October in Kazan hosts the International Economic Summit KazanSummit, which is one of the leading international economic events of the Russian Federation and the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC ) . The summit was first held in 2009, since 2010 was held under the patronage of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. KazanSummit purpose is to promote the improvement and strengthening of economic and trade relations between the Russian Federation and the countries of the OIC . The summit provides an opportunity to engage in an open dialogue on trends in business, trade and investment prospects in the areas of Russia and the countries of the OIC . The summit began with a business breakfast , which was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov , representatives of foreign businesses , public authorities and experts .
As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House.
