The Russian Export Center (REC) held a business game "Export Regatta" in Tatarstan. Entrepreneurs got acquainted with the peculiarities of cross-cultural communication in export activities.
Entrepreneurs also got acquainted in a playful way with the measures of state support that can be obtained within the framework of the national projects "International Cooperation and Export" and "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" at the REC and the Export Support Center. The participants also determined at which stage of the export transaction which support should be better applied in order to reduce costs and make a profit.
"Gamification is a trend in the business event industry today. By immersing themselves in the game, participants understand the complex aspects of export activities much easier and faster, learn how to build business communication with foreign partners, study government export support measures and at the same time they get excited, which allows them to conquer foreign markets," — Director for the development of regional export support Infrastructure of the REC Natalia Minaeva.
About 50 export-oriented small and medium-sized companies of Tatarstan took part in the "Export Regatta".
"The event allowed us not only to evaluate our own experience of working with partners from abroad, but also to gain new knowledge that will certainly be useful in practice," said one of the participants.
