On February 7, the 37th meeting of the Council of the Zainsky municipal district was held in the Zainsky district, within the framework of which the results of socio-economic development for 2023 were considered and tasks for 2024 were defined. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
Midhat Shagiakhmetov said that despite all the challenges, the republic's economy has achieved positive results over the past year. GRP growth of 3.6% was achieved. The sustainable development of the economy made it possible to continue the implementation of important infrastructure tasks.
In 2023, within the framework of national projects initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin and republican programs, more than 4 thousand objects worth 126 billion rubles were built and renovated, including a record 3.4 million square meters. The construction and overhaul of 350 educational institutions, including 10 schools, has been completed, significant funds have been allocated for road construction, all this contributes to the overall growth of the well-being of citizens and the sustainable development of the republic's economy.
The Zainsky municipal district also contributes to the economy of the republic. The gross territorial product of the district is estimated at 70 billion rubles, the volume of industrial production forms 70.1% of the district's economy. In recent years, the share of industrial production has increased by almost 10 billion rubles from 64.3% to 70.1%. The largest enterprises of the Zainsky district are the branch of Tatenergo Zainskaya GRES, Accuride Wheels Russia, a branch of the Techno plant, JSC Zainsky Sugar. The IPI for the last year was 104.9%.
Midhat Shagiakhmetov noted that the district needs to identify new reserves and growth points, implement the tasks outlined in the report of the head, and maximize the use of state support measures. Also, investment projects must be supported at every stage of implementation and brought to the start of production.
"I draw the attention of the district that any issues that arise for enterprises to ensure uninterrupted operation should become a priority at the municipal balance sheet commissions. It is necessary to consider in detail and prepare proposals for their solution and the use of necessary support measures for further consideration at the Operational Staff of the republic," the Minister stressed.
