217 entrepreneurs of Tatarstan will present national brands at the federal level

Applications for participation in the Know Our New Russian Brands competition, organized on behalf of Vladimir Putin by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and the Roscongress Foundation, continue to be accepted until January 15. 192 applications have already been received from entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tatarstan to participate in the competition, which aims to support the development of promising Russian brands in the country. In total, Russian entrepreneurs sent 787 applications.

Applications are accepted in five directions: "Food and nutrition", "Consumer goods", "Creative", "IT", "High technologies". Special nominations "Inclusion", "The boldest idea".

Tatarstan is the leader in the number of applications for the "Know Our People" competition. Entrepreneurs and self-employed from more than 30 districts of the republic submitted applications in all 7 nominations of the competition. 

Most of the applications in the categories "Food" and "Ready-made food" - Tatarstan residents presented halal and dairy farm products, chak-chak and other bakery products, pasta, cereals, sweets with a national flavor. The nomination "Food products" is also the leader in the number of applications from republican brands. In the "IT" nomination, 7 companies of Tatarstan presented software and services for the development of corporate programs. 

The winning companies will receive assistance in promoting on marketplaces and in the media, access to training programs, individual meetings with business experts, membership in business associations, free participation in major events, as well as grant support.  When choosing the winners, the annual turnover growth rate, the assessment of the project partners and the regions where the company is registered, the opinion of the competition jury, the company's participation in social projects, projects and programs of the competition partners will be taken into account. Among the partners of the competition are Channel One, MAER media holding, Simple, Zenden, Zasport and others. This year, the organizers will also highlight the regions that best support brands.

About 5 thousand brands from all regions of the country became participants in the first season of the competition, Tatarstan entered the top ten regions in terms of the number of applications. 148 participants were announced from the republic, 36 of them made it to the finals. 

Let us recall that the winner of the first season from the Republic of Tatarstan in the partner nomination was recognized by Azbuka of Cheese LLC (Mamadyshsky district). This allowed the company to participate free of charge in the federal competition "National award "Brand of the Year in Russia", in which it also won, and now the packaging of Azbuka of Cheese products is decorated with an honorary title. The company will also talk about itself in the program "Our everything" "Channel One".

Let us recall that support for domestic brands is being implemented within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
