More than 1,600 Tatarstan citizens have become participants of training marathons on working on Russian marketplaces

In November, the fourth training forum-marathon was completed in Tatarstan, where 359 Tatarstan residents studied the tools to increase sales on the KazanExpress marketplace. In total, 1,609 residents of the republic participated in the series of events.

To support and promote products to local sellers, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the My Business Center launched this year a new series of training forums-marathons "PRO Marketplace" on working on Wildberries, Ozon, Yandex Market and KazanExpress marketplaces.

Experts of the My Business Center note that often novice online sellers do not have enough experience and marketing budget to bring their products to the top of the offers. As a result, a significant part of newcomers lose to experienced competitors and decide to stop strong activity on marketplaces. The training program is designed for a quick and successful start and further advancement.

The students studied SEO optimization of their product cards, advertising tools to attract new customers, learned how to develop a promotion strategy and analyze sales statistics. To consolidate their knowledge, experts analyzed product cards based on real examples and analyzed the mistakes made.

As a result, the course of the republic's leadership aimed at supporting online commerce has allowed increasing the number of Tatarstan sellers by 23% this year - up to 55,919. This is about 12% of the total number of legal entities and self-employed registered in Tatarstan and 7% of the total number of Russian sellers. 

The series of events was organized by the Center "My Business" of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with the ANO "E-commerce Center "Marketplace.Easy" with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative".

Training forum marathons have been held in Tatarstan since 2021. By the end of 2022, this practice was awarded the federal award "My Business" as the best educational project and recommended for replication in other regions of the country.
