On November 13, 2023, the company launched one of Russia's largest plants for surface mounting of electronic printed circuit boards and production of computer equipment in the SEZ Innopolis in Laishevsky district. The opening of the plant was held with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Also, the event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov.
The opening of a new plant of the ICL Group of companies is an important step towards the import independence of the domestic IT sector. The launch of the plant will allow ICL Group to create a full-cycle production and increase the output of the current and prospective product portfolio.
The plant has an area of more than 8,000 sq. m. The plant united workshops for the surface mounting of printed circuit boards, conveyor lines for the production of computer equipment and a new test laboratory.
Technological capacities will amount to 300 thousand motherboards per year, followed by an increase to 1 million motherboards per year. The production of our own motherboards will allow us to produce more than 200 types of Russian-made computing equipment. The production capacities of finished products, such as servers, data storage systems, personal computers, monoblocks, laptops, tablets and solutions based on them are designed for 1 million devices per year. This will allow ICL partners to offer their customers from a wide variety of industries equipment and hardware and software systems that meet the most modern requirements, manufactured in the Russian Federation.
The project is being implemented with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Industry Development Fund of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation within the framework of the state program implemented by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1119, providing state support in the form of inter-budget transfers to reimburse the costs of the Republic of Tatarstan for the creation of infrastructure of industrial parks, including those located on the territory of the special economic zones.
