The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan announced a survey to collect feedback for the development of the business climate
By order of the Head of the Republic in Tatarstan a plan to improve the business climate is being developed. To identify business needs and form a Plan of activities based on business feedback The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan conducts a survey to study topical issues of entrepreneurship. This was announced today in the speech of the First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan – Director of the Department of Entrepreneurship Development Natalia Kondratova.
The event was attended by representatives of the industry, public and business organizations, business support institutions and the First Deputy Minister of Economy – Director of the Department of Entrepreneurship Development Natalia Kondratova was held as part of the business breakfast "Tatarstan for business: support measures" in the regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In her report, she spoke in detail about the current state of small and medium-sized businesses. Tatarstan traditionally occupies a leading position in the rating of investment attractiveness. By the end of 2022, the Republic of Tatarstan once again took the 2nd place in the rating of the investment climate. According to the results of the 1st half of this year, the number of people employed in SMEs, including sole proprietors and self-employed, increased by 10.3% or 76.9 thousand people.The Deputy Minister also recalled the priorities and directions of SME development.
"We are trying to improve the business climate, namely, to create optimal conditions for the growth of the number of small and medium–sized businesses. We strive to stimulate business growth for its transition to the next economic level, from micro to small companies, from small to medium. It is also important for us to remove restrictions on the exit of entrepreneurs for export and promotion of local brands," she noted Natalia Kondratova.
To implement all the tasks set, a Plan for the development of the business climate is being developed. To prepare a Plan The Ministry offers to take a survey to study industrial, financial, economic and other business issues. The results of the survey will be announced at the end of this week, on September 29, at an expanded strategic session with the participation of business associations, authorities, active municipalities and support infrastructure organizations, the purpose of which will be to discuss a draft action plan to improve the business climate in the republic.
