A traditional self-employed fair will be held in Tatarstan on Republic Day

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, within the framework of the national SME project, will provide self-employed people with free shopping places on the central Kazan Bauman Street on the square near the Academy of Sciences, which traditionally becomes the center of attraction for residents and guests of Tatarstan on holidays.

The fair from the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the My Business Center will be held on August 29 and 30, 2023. At the free trading places provided to the self-employed under the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship", the fair's guests will find artisan sweet gifts, chocolate, wooden dishes, plaster jewelry, diaries and postcards, jewelry, clothes and much more made by the hands of Tatarstan residents.

To promote the products of the self-employed of the Republic, which reflects the regional identity, the Government of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan annually hold large-scale fairs. This format helps the self-employed to tell about themselves and their business, to find new clients and like-minded people. 

Let us recall that since the beginning of 2023, the number of self-employed in Tatarstan has increased by 30.5 thousand people. More than 300 self-employed people have taken part in exhibition and fair events on the territory of the republic since the beginning of the year," including the 3-day fair "I am Tatarstan" during the Days of Russian Entrepreneurship, where they earned more than 10 million rubles. 

Also, for payers of professional income tax, the My Business Center, subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducts free training programs on a permanent basis on bringing their products to marketplaces
