Since the beginning of 2023, the volume of investment loans for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Tatarstan has reached 6.2 billion rubles. The Republic ranks first in Russia in this indicator. Such data were brought today to the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
In total, investment loans were approved for 658 SMEs in the amount of 79.4 billion rubles throughout the country. The second place after Tatarstan is occupied by Moscow with the amount of 6.1 billion rubles, the third place is the Novosibirsk region with 4.8 billion rubles. Also in the top five are the Sverdlovsk Region and Perm Region with amounts of 4.7 and 3.6 billion rubles, respectively.
"The main number of approved applications are from representatives of small and microbusiness, who have always found it difficult to get funds for development on favorable terms. In total, companies from these two sectors accounted for 549 agreements worth almost 58 billion rubles," explained Tatyana Ilyushnikova, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
The program of preferential investment loans was launched in August last year due to the combination of preferential loans within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship", which was initiated by President and oversees First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov, as well as programs to stimulate lending of the Bank of Russia and the SME Corporation.
The Ministry of Economic Development also explained that the largest volume of attracted preferential funds was recorded in manufacturing - over 47 billion rubles. In the field of transportation and storage, this figure exceeded 22 billion rubles. SMEs in the hotel business received more than 9 billion rubles in the form of preferential loans. Enterprises working in the field of scientific and technical activities have attracted almost a billion rubles from banks.
Currently, small and medium-sized businesses from priority areas can receive preferential loans from 50 million rubles under the program: manufacturing, hotel business, professional scientific and technical activities, as well as entrepreneurs of the North Caucasus Federal District and the Far Eastern Federal District in the field of transportation and storage. The rate under the program depends on the value of the key rate and currently amounts to 7.5% per annum for medium-sized businesses and 9% per annum for small and microenterprises. You can get funds from one of the partner banks of the program, their list is published on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
