In Tatarstan, the list of types of activities has been expanded for investors of priority development territories

The Government of the Russian Federation has expanded the list of types of economic activities available to investors of the territory of advanced development (TAD). Previously, there was a strictly defined list of permitted activities for each TAD. For example, for 5 TAD in the Republic of Tatarstan, it was allowed to conduct from 16 to 26 types of activities.

The corresponding resolution was developed by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia in good faith with the expert community, relevant departments and regions.

In Tatarstan, it was allowed to conduct from 16 to 26 types of activities on the TAD. Changes in legislation have expanded this list to more than 40 types of activities, including in the field of:

•     construction;

•     informatization and communication;

•     transportation and storage;

•     healthcare;

•     social services;

•     culture and sports;

•     leisure and entertainment organizations;

•     hotels and catering establishments;

•     professional, scientific and technical activities.

"Residents of the TAD have opened up new opportunities for the implementation of projects in the fields of agriculture, mining, manufacturing, textile industry, printing, chemical products, pharmaceuticals. Now more than 1,200 residents of 89 TAD in single-industry towns, where more than 91 thousand jobs have already been created, will be able to implement projects in any field of activity except for the production of excisable goods, logging, wholesale and retail trade, financial services, insurance, leasing, leasing, as well as the activities of land, water and air transport companies," - Dmitry Vakhrukov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia, noted. 

"Expanding the list of economic activities will attract new residents to single-industry towns, as well as implement new projects for existing enterprises. This decision equalizes the competitive opportunities between the TAD and will contribute to the implementation of significant projects, the creation of new jobs and the further development of our single-industry towns," said Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov.

Recall that there are 5 TAD in the Republic of Tatarstan. To date, 130 residents carry out their activities on their territory, who have invested 48.3 billion rubles (excluding VAT) of investments and created over 22 thousand jobs.

Only in the second quarter of this year, the territories of advanced development in Tatarstan allowed attracting 2 billion rubles of investments into the economy of the republic. Also during this period, 184 new jobs were created at the TAD, 7 residents started production.
