Rospatent announces a competition to identify the most breakthrough inventions

Rospatent, in partnership with the REC, announces a "Successful Patent" competition to identify the most breakthrough inventions that have received an economic effect by the end of 2022.

Domestic copyright holders who have a patent for an invention issued in 2021-2022 can take part.

The deadline for submitting an application is August 10, 2023.

The competitive selection is carried out by a jury consisting of representatives of science, business structures, public organizations in the field of intellectual property and FIIP experts.

According to the results of the competitive selection, 10 patents are selected that have received the highest number of points according to the results of the jury voting.

The holder of the "Successful Patent of the Year" is awardedRospatent diploma and certificate for one study ("preliminary assessment of patentability" or "research of patented developments for the purposes of possible reengineering" or "assessment of the degree of legal protection of a particular development (reliability of patent protection") conducted by the Center for the Promotion of Advanced Technologies of FIIP.
