242 young millionaires appeared in Tatarstan

The Innovation Promotion Foundation announced the results of the 3rd wave of the Student Startup competition. 242 projects from Tatarstan became grant holders. 

Several weeks of tedious expectations of the participants of the 3rd wave of the competition were crowned with the victory of 1.2 thousand projects from 68 regions and 236 universities of the Russian Federation, which means attracting 1 million rubles to the development of each startup. According to the results of the examination, 242 million rubles will be attracted from the FSI to the Republic of Tatarstan for the development of technological entrepreneurship.

In just 3 stages of the competition, 371 millionaire students appeared in the republic developing their projects. Tatarstan students and postgraduates submitted more than 1,477 applications for the competition. These are projects developed on the basis of their own scientific, technical and technological research, with the potential for commercialization.

The program participants were selected in seven thematic areas: digital technologies, medicine and health-saving technologies, chemical technologies and new materials, new devices and intelligent production technologies, biotechnologies, resource-saving energy and creative industries.

As part of the implementation of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship", a regional representative office of the Innovation Assistance Fund was opened on the basis of the My Business Center of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2022.

The My Business Center carries out the overall integration of the implementation process of each specific project-the winner of the Student Startup competition with enterprises, universities, ministries and departments for their further commercialization and development.

The "My Business" Center grows finalist students of the "Student Startup" program through training and mentoring from experts of technological entrepreneurship.
