The Republic of Tatarstan has entered the top 5 in terms of the volume of guarantees provided to business by the RGO

Tatarstan became one of the leaders in terms of the increase in the volume of guarantees provided by regional guarantee organizations (RGO), which helped entrepreneurs to issue loans for 9.9 billion rubles. In total, small and medium-sized businesses in Russia attracted more than 292 billion rubles of financing in 2022 with the help of guarantees from regional guarantee organizations (RGO) within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship", which is supervised by the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov.

As told by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Tatiana Ilyushnikova, in 2022, the guarantees of the RGO helped to attract more than 292 billion rubles of loans to business:

"The leaders in the increase in the volume of guarantees provided are the RGO of Moscow (+8.6 billion rubles), the Moscow Region (+3.6 billion rubles), the Sverdlovsk Region (+2.9 billion rubles), the Republic of Tatarstan (+1.9 billion rubles) and the Chelyabinsk Region (+1.9 billion rubles).

In total, more than 19.5 thousand guarantees were provided to small and medium-sized businesses in 2022. The largest number of guarantees was provided to entrepreneurs in the fields of trade (36%), services (18%), manufacturing (15%), as well as agriculture (15%), construction (8%) and logistics (8%)."

The Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2022 provided 668 guarantees to small and medium-sized businesses in the amount of 3.7 billion rubles. Compared to 2021, the number of sureties issued increased by 65%, and the amount of sureties issued increased by 102%. The total volume of loans attracted under the guarantee of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to 9.9 billion rubles.

Within the framework of the preferential product "Support – 2022", developed to support entrepreneurs under sanctions pressure who do not have their own funds to secure a loan, the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan acted as a guarantor for 369 companies in the amount of 2.1 billion rubles. The maximum amount of the guarantee for the product "Support – 2022" was 70 million rubles. At the same time, the remuneration rate was reduced to a minimum value of 0.5%, and the possibility of deferring payment of remuneration for the first 6 months is also provided.
