Tatarstan students can receive a grant of 1 million rubles for the development of technology-savvy projects

The acceptance of applications for a grant of 1 million rubles for the creation of startups within the framework of the federal project "Platform of University Technological Entrepreneurship" from the Innovation Assistance Fund has started. Students from the universities of the Republic of Tatarstan can take part in the federal project. Applications will be accepted until April 3, 2023.

The program is aimed at developing new goods, products, technologies or services using the results of its own scientific, technical and technological research that have the potential for commercialization and are at the earliest stage of development. This year, 1,500 students will receive a grant of 1 million.

Individuals who are citizens of the Russian Federation and study in educational institutions of higher education of the Russian Federation under bachelor's, specialist's, master's or postgraduate programs, who do not have valid contracts with the Foundation (with the exception of grantees of the second year of the "UMNIK" program), can take part in the competition.

In 2022, 129 students from the Republic of Tatarstan won the Student Startup competition and received grant support in the amount of 129 million rubles. Young innovators shared that grant funding will be directed to the development and scaling of startups.

Medicine and health-saving technologies;
New materials and chemical technologies;
New devices and intelligent manufacturing technologies;
Biotechnologies;
Resource-saving energy.
Creative industries.

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan will assist in the preparation and support of student projects, will provide methodological and consulting support, assistance in the formation of applications for participation.
