Today, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted the final meeting of the working group to ensure the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2022, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
At the meeting, the results of the working group for 2022 were summed up, and the tasks for 2023 were discussed. The following issues were also considered: the results of participation in measures to support small and medium-sized businesses in 2022, the question of the speeches of the heads of municipalities at weekly meetings with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2023, and tasks within the work of the Republican Marketing Center for 2023.
The working group was established back in 2020 amid the deteriorating situation due to the spread of a new coronavirus infection, the volatility of oil prices and the dollar exchange rate. This year (by order of the Ministry of Economy of March 18, 2022 No. 96), the working group was reoriented to take prompt response measures in the face of an unprecedented increase in external sanctions pressure. This year, 59 meetings of the working group were held, within the framework of which operational monitoring and control of the implementation of measures to ensure the sustainable development of the economy of the republic were carried out and appropriate response measures were taken in various areas.
“The activities of the working group, first of all, were aimed at solving the problematic issues of our enterprises. Within the framework of the working group, specific measures were worked out jointly with enterprises to address emerging issues.” - said the minister.
It was noted that the main task for the upcoming 2023, in the face of increased unprecedented sanctions pressure, is to ensure macroeconomic stability, economic stability and, accordingly, the quality of life of citizens.
In conclusion, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov thanked all members of the working group for their active work this year, and also set goals for 2023.
