Improvement of the second phase of the park was completed in the Salavat Kupere microdistrict in Kazan, for which 498 million rubles were allocated as part of the implementation of the national project Housing and Urban Environment, of which 403.4 million rubles were from the budget of the Russian Federation.
The new park was visited by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
Almost 30 thousand people live in the Salavat Kupere residential complex. A large number of social infrastructure facilities have already been created on the territory of the district - schools, kindergartens, a clinic, and a teenage club are operating. The opening of the new park is a long-awaited event of the Salavat Kupere residents' day.
The new urban space is located on an area of more than 6 hectares, which includes a "play and sports" zone - children's activities with a unique water spray labyrinth, a sports ground with an obstacle course, exercise equipment, a streetball court, an extreme zone as part of a pump track and skateboards. Also, the park is equipped with a fountain, a promenade, an amphitheater with a ramp, viewing platforms at different levels, a bridge with a swing, lawns for games and recreation. In addition, a cultural center has been organized with a roof used as an observation deck, a multifunctional area.
Rustam Minnikhanov examined the territory of the park and talked with the residents of the microdistrict. So, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan was told about the work of greenhouses, where master classes on growing plants are held. The co-working area will also host various activities, such as leather mosaic and weaving.
Then Rustam Minnikhanov inspected the dog walking area. Its creation was discussed by local dog breeders and architects. Now, unique play equipment and more than 700 square meters of free space are available for walking pets.
Recall that in 2022, under the national project "Housing and the urban environment", measures are being taken to improve 33 objects of a comfortable urban environment with funding of 1.8 billion rubles.
