The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan at the gastrofestival in Kazan provided the self-employed with equipped trading places for the sale of their own products. The service was provided within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium Business and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives".
89 self-employed with the support of the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan and the regional center "My Business" presented their products at the gastrofestival. They sold designer jewelry, farm goods, toys, and home decor items worth about 700,000 rubles.
Events for the sale of products and services of the self-employed are held throughout the country throughout the year. They gave almost 1,000 self-employed Tatarstan residents the opportunity to talk about their business and find new clients and partners. Specialized fairs allowed self-employed citizens to earn about 17 million rubles.
Fairs to promote self-employment are held by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the regional center "My Business" of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund for 4 years, since the introduction of the special tax regime "Tax on professional income" in Tatarstan.
Recall that Tatarstan was identified as one of the four pilot regions, where in 2019 a special tax regime was introduced as an experiment - “Tax on professional income”. Since the beginning of the special tax regime, more than 214 thousand people have registered as self-employed in Tatarstan.
