Self-employed of Tatarstan will set a record for Russia on Republic Day

The longest self-employed counter in the country, 225 meters, will be located near the walls of the Kazan Kremlin on Republic Day, August 30. The record will be set as part of a large-scale fair of products of Tatarstan self-employed "I am Tatarstan".

The number of self-employed in Tatarstan today exceeds 207 thousand people - this is a huge community of unique entrepreneurs, original craftsmen who create products with their own hands, which are found in every corner of the republic. Such things embody the national and modern flavor of Tatarstan, and anyone who buys them is fascinated by the republic, gets to know it better. That is why one can say without hesitation about local masters - they are Tatarstan!

To promote the products of the self-employed of the republic, which reflects the regional identity, the Government of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan annually hold large-scale fairs. This format helps the self-employed to tell about themselves and their business, to find new clients and like-minded people.

This year, the date of the fair "I am Tatarstan" was not chosen by chance. Republic Day will become a place of attraction for citizens and guests of the region, which will provide an additional opportunity to present Tatarstan in a favorable way as a concentration of creative, self-sufficient people who are ready to offer high-quality and unique national products to the guests of the holiday. The longest self-employed counter in Russia will feature handicraft souvenirs, costume jewelry, bags, clothes and sweets, food and much more.

Traditionally, along with the fair, there will be a forum for self-employed citizens, which will become a platform for discussing topical issues that artisans face when doing business. The forum program includes master classes and lectures from leading experts and speakers.

Hosts, DJs and artists from among self-employed citizens will work all day near the walls of the Kremlin. They will hold competitions, lotteries, quizzes for the guests of the holiday, performances of creative teams and musicians of the republic are also planned.

The event will be held within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives". The organizers are the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund.
