VEB.RF Group will finance the construction of a new plant in Tatarstan
The Monotowns Development Fund (VEB.RF Group) will issue an interest-free loan in the amount of 250 million rubles for the creation of a smart plant for the production of refrigeration and freezing equipment in the Naberezhnye Chelny monotown of the Republic of Tatarstan. As a result of the implementation of the investment project, more than 4.5 billion rubles of investments will be attracted to the city's economy, more than 800 new jobs will appear.
The new plant with a total area of more than 34,000 m2 is planned to produce refrigeration and freezing equipment, including vertical freezing equipment, chests and refrigerators. After reaching full design capacity, KHAIR LLC will produce 500,000 refrigeration and freezing equipment per year.
“Soon a new plant for the production of modern refrigeration and freezing equipment from the Chinese company Haier will appear in Naberezhnye Chelny. Today, an agreement was signed with Mr. Sun Zhenhua on issuing an interest-free loan to the enterprise. This is an international project that will create more than 800 new jobs,” commented Irina Makieva, Chief Managing Partner for Urban Development of VEB.RF, General Director of MONOGORODA.RF, commenting on the signing of the agreement.
“Today, Haier continues to implement the planned investment program on the territory of the Russian Federation. Obtaining a loan will make it possible to complete the construction and installation work on the new project provided for by the investment program on time,” said Sun Zhenhua, General Director of KHAIR LLC.
