Since the beginning of this year, self-employed "declared" more than 12.9 billion rubles of income

To date, over 198 thousand self-employed citizens are registered in the Republic of Tatarstan. Growth since the beginning of the year amounted to more than 29 thousand self-employed, said Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov at a meeting in the Government House with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

Since the beginning of this year, the self-employed have “declared” more than 12.9 billion rubles of income, and since the beginning of the experiment, the total income received by the self-employed has amounted to more than 53.5 billion rubles. The total amount of tax paid amounted to more than 2 billion rubles.

Various support measures are provided to the self-employed in the republic. The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan regularly holds exhibitions and fairs of self-employed products, in which they sell their goods.

Over the current year, Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk and other municipalities organized 15 exhibition and fair events, in which 1.5 thousand self-employed people took part.

“By the end of this year, municipalities need to plan and hold similar fairs when organizing various cultural events on an ongoing basis,” the minister stressed.

In addition, the Entrepreneurship Support Fund provides services for the placement of self-employed people on electronic trading platforms. Since the beginning of the year, more than 300 self-employed citizens have used them.

Also, for self-employed citizens, preferential microloans are provided at a rate of up to 5.5% per annum. This year, 112 self-employed people received this support.
