The presentation of the opportunities of the “Import Substitution Center” of the Republic of Tatarstan took place within the framework of the meeting of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR), which was held by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in Yakutsk. The event took place within the framework of a business visit of a representative delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the President of the Republic R.N. Minnakhanov to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The delegation also included Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin took part in the AIRR meeting via video link.
Now the Association includes 18 subjects of the country, which account for a third of Russian innovative products. Over the past 4 years, 4 new regions have joined AIRR (Novgorod Region, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Nizhny Novgorod Region, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra).
The participants of the meeting listened to the report of VEB.RF on the capabilities of the GeoVEB system for making managerial decisions.
The Agency for the State Order of the Republic of Tatarstan presented an aggregator for the development of import substitution. It has already been introduced in 6 regions of the country (Tatarstan, Dagestan, Mordovia, Udmurtia, Astrakhan, Sverdlovsk regions).
The new mechanism makes it possible to collect information on import-substituting products manufactured in the country, to provide assistance to customers whose activities depended on the import of components, goods, raw materials and equipment.
Also, members of the delegation took part in the forum "Tatarstan - Yakutia". The presentation of the investment and innovation potential of the two republics took place at the forum.
The head of Tatarstan noted the importance of interregional cooperation. Within the framework of the forum, agreements were signed between Yakutia and Tatarstan.
