"Digital profile" of an entrepreneur at SME.RF is planned to be launched in July

The key stage in the development of the SME.RF Digital Platform, developed by the SME Corporation together with the Ministry of Economic Development, will be the launch in July 2022 of the Entrepreneur's Digital Profile. This will provide quick access to support measures. This was reported in the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia on Thursday at a meeting with the regions.

The essence of the project is to release business owners when applying for services from the obligation to independently provide the necessary information. It will be enough for them to agree to receive data, and the Digital Platform will accept all information from counterparties (FTS, Ministry of Digital Development, Ministry of Economy, Central Bank, SME Corporation) through a digital profile.

Digital profile at MSP.RF:

• will help in obtaining "difficult" financial support measures. The number of manually filled fields per loan will be halved. Plus, all data will be verified and will not require verification;
• will provide access to 18 information about the entrepreneur, subject to 2 conditions: registration on the MSP.RF through the ESIA and the consent of the entrepreneur;
• The SME Corporation will review the processes for providing support measures. By September 1, 2022, the application for most financial measures will be simplified, incl. regional, on MSP.RF.

“We expect that this tool will be especially effective when providing financial support, when the greatest amount of information is requested from businesses and the collection of information can take weeks,” said Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov.

Currently, over 100 online business support measures are available for entrepreneurs and the self-employed on the SME.RF Digital Platform, 37 of which are digitized support measures for the Republic of Tatarstan. Among them: the opportunity to apply for participation in exhibitions and fairs, get help with accounting, product certification, product promotion, etc.
